Throughout my internship, I am contributing to marine conservation by assisting with marine mammal research in Cardigan Bay, collecting data on marine mammals from land and boat-based surveys, and assisting with photo-identification and acoustic analysis of bottlenose dolphins. I also help to develop and run community outreach and education activities to engage people of all ages in climate change action and protecting our oceans. I enjoy sharing my love of the oceans and marine wildlife with others, inspiring the wider community to take action to protect the marine environment, and contributing to scientific research in Cardigan Bay.
